Seven years ago, Top of the Table member Rickson D’Souza was quoted double for a life insurance policy for a person his age. He was morbidly obese and led a high-stress workaholic lifestyle. Health and well-being were at the bottom of his priority list. Since then, he exited his successful insurance company to work solo, dropped his working hours to nearly half, set and achieved every financial goal he set, shed 130 pounds and ran the Marathon des Sables — a 250-km ultramarathon across the Moroccan Sahara — twice. He explains his formula of larger-than-life goals, and a pressing need to do better than he did yesterday.
