The MDRT Foundation Names Chicago Advisor Jennifer Mann to its Board of Trustees
PARK RIDGE, IL. (Sept. 1, 2024) — Jennifer Mann, MBA, CFP, ChFc, CLU, LUTCF, of Chicago, Illinois, has been named a Trustee to the MDRT Foundation Board, with her three-year term beginning September 1, 2024. The MDRT Foundation is the charitable arm of MDRT, the leading international association for financial services professionals. Mann is a 20-year member of MDRT with four Court of the Table qualifications.
“Jen has been involved with the Foundation since the beginning of her MDRT journey,” said MDRT Foundation President Alessandro Forte, FCII, CFP. “She was involved in the Phonathon as Committee Chair and volunteer caller 17 times. Her experience and dedication are a fabulous addition to the Board.”
As a Trustee of the MDRT Foundation Board, Mann is responsible for supporting organizational growth of the Foundation while providing oversight for the programs supporting people in need. The Foundation’s global grant programs provide an opportunity for MDRT members to obtain funding for charitable organizations in their communities. Grants fund a variety of programs, including those that serve at-risk youth, homeless individuals, people with disabilities, and the elderly. In 2023, the Foundation awarded more than USD 1.8 million in grants to charities throughout the world.
“The Foundation has been near and dear to my heart since my first Annual Meeting,” said Mann. “I have been lucky enough to participate in a variety of service projects and secure grants for organizations that are important to me. It is very exciting to take on a larger role in helping so many wonderful causes worldwide.”
Mann is also a Gold Knight of the Foundation – Knights are the organization’s most loyal supporters, as their donations support a variety of charitable causes worldwide. Gold Knight donors have given a minimum of USD 5,000 in cumulative contributions.
