Draper-based advisor named Secretary of leading global financial services association

Draper, Utah, USA (September 1, 2026) — MDRT, The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, appointed Brad J. Myers, ChFC, Secretary of MDRT. Myers took office today, bringing extensive MDRT volunteer leadership experience and a commitment to member engagement as he begins his five-year term on the committee.  

As Secretary, Myers, along with four other Executive Committee members, will focus on fostering meaningful connections, collaboration and engagement across MDRT's global community. They also will continue expanding members' access to professional development through digital learning resources, including MDRT Learn, which unifies industry-best curated content and live-event programming with new on-demand courses in one ecosystem, and ChatMDRT, an AI-powered knowledge assistant designed exclusively for members.  

The Executive Committee’s work supports the entire MDRT Family of Brands, including the MDRT Academy, which helps financial advisors achieve MDRT-level production, and the MDRT Center for Field Leadership, which equips field and home office leaders with the tools and resources to grow in their roles and support their teams.

Myers is the owner of Pepperwood Financial, which specializes in helping individuals nearing or in retirement to build sustainable and secure financial futures. Known for his client-first mindset and commitment to mentorship and leadership, Myers works with up-andcoming professionals in the industry, drawing on his professional experience and insights gained through MDRT.

His firm supports local organizations including The Road Home, a nonprofit that helps individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity, and Toys for Tots to provide gifts for Salt Lake City area children in need during holiday seasons.

A 24-year MDRT member, Myers has 15 Court of the Table and six Top of the Table qualifications. His extensive MDRT involvement includes serving as 2026 Chair of the Court of the Table Committee and as Divisional Vice President of Program General Arrangements for the Brad J. Myers, ChFC, begins his term as Secretary of MDRT on September 1. 2022 MDRT Annual Meeting. He also is a Platinum Knight of the MDRT Foundation and previously served on its Board of Trustees.
